General Information

Bristol airport is 9 miles outside the city centre, just off the A38. From London take the M4 until Junction 19, then take the M32 Southbound, this turns into the A38. From the North take the M5 until Junction 18, then the A4 towards Bath taking the A38 turn off. From the South take M5 north until Junction 22, then take the A38 towards Bristol and follow signs for the airport. The nearest train station is Bristol Temple Meads in Bristol town centre. From the station the Bristol International Flyer bus runs a non-stop service to and from the airport. The journey takes about 25 minutes. The First Badgerline bus number 121 runs between Bristol, Weston Super Mare and the airport. The bus station is just outside the short stay car park.

There are good facilities, both in the terminal and in the car parks, for disabled travellers. In the terminal, there are lifts to all floors, wheelchairs, Special Assistance points throughout the terminal, disabled toilets with help buttons, braille signs, and an induction loop.

In the car parks, there are help buttons on entry barriers, larger bays in the long and short term car parks, wheelchair friendly minibuses, and drop off at the front of the terminal. There are also mother and baby changing rooms.

Airport Hotels

There are many hotels in Bristol, including the Bristol Town and Country Lodge, and the Bristol Days Inn, both of which offer hotel + parking packages. Staying in an airport hotel on the night before your departure date enables you to have a more relaxing start to your holiday - if you are travelling by car, no travel delays stuck in traffic or bad weather, so no pressure about missing your flight. It can also save money on parking, as hotel + parking often works out at only a few pounds more than a room alone, or sometimes the package works out cheaper than the parking charges alone. To search for and book your airport hotel stay, use our quote engine for excellent rates.

Airport Parking

The short term car park is conveniently situated on-site at the airport, just a short walk from the terminal. The long term car park for short breaks is served by a courtesy shuttle bus. For a longer stay, your car will be parked in the Silverzone car park and there is a non-stop courtesy shuttle bus. The Long stay car park is only available for bookings of 5 days or more. To use this car park simply turn right at the first roundabout. You can use our quote engine to search for and book online your parking. If you pre-book, not only do you guarantee your space, but you also save money.

Car Rental

There are four national car hire companies based on site in the short-term car park close to the terminal building. You can search here for a wide choice of vehicles from cheap economy options through to luxury vehicles.
