General Information
Exeter International Airport is situated five miles from the City of Exeter, off the A30. From the M5 motorway junction 29, travel 1 mile eastbound on the A30.
The nearest train station to Exeter Airport is St Davids Station on the London Paddington to Plymouth and Cornwall line. Services to North Devon are also operated. Exeter Central Station has services on the London Waterloo to Exmouth line.
The Number 56 and 56A Stagecoach bus runs between the bus and coach station and the Exeter airport.
Exeter Airport?s Disabled Facilities include:
Ramped access is available into the Main Terminal Building and the Arrivals Terminal;
Electronically activated and controlled doors are available at the Main Terminal Building and the Arrivals Terminal;
Telephones and information leaflet racking is available at low level;
A hearing Loop system is available at the information desks in the Main Terminal Building and in the Arrivals Terminal;
Braille cards with instructions and information are available for visually impaired passengers in both the Check-in and Security Areas;
Airside coaches have low loading ramped access for transfer to the aircraft steps;
Wheelchairs, are available for passengers with reduced mobility, for use in the terminal and to/from the aircraft;
Passengers who have difficulty negotiating aircraft steps will be given the opportunity to use an Ambulift. This special hydraulic vehicle, used between the Terminal and aircraft doors, is operated by trained airport staff.
Exeter Airport offers the following baby and child services:

Baby changing facilities, both landside and airside, in dedicated rooms adjacent to the toilets;

Airport Parking
Car Park 1, the short stay car park is 50 yards from Terminal.
Car Park 2, the long stay car park with no pre-booking available is 75 yards from the Terminal on the approach road.
Car Park 3, the long stay car park where pre-booking can save you money, is 200 yards from the Terminal on the B3184 approach road, and is served by the Shuttle Bus.
Car Park 4, also a long stay car park with discounts for pre-booking, is 1/4 mile from the Terminal on the airport service road, and is also served by the Shuttle Bus.
Drivers with a Blue Badge issued in their name, may use temporary front-of-terminal spaces for setting down and picking up. If you are picking up an arriving person with restricted mobility, please use the Short Stay car park until the passenger has been met.
Long Stay close proximity parking spaces for Blue Badge drivers, or the Registered Carer assisting the person with disability to travel, can be reserved. Disability Assistance from trained staff, can be made available for wheelchair users in the terminal

Check In
Departing passengers must attend the check-in desk in the Main Terminal Building (Departures). Passengers collecting tickets at the airport should go to the airline or travel company ticket desks in the concourse before attending the check-in desk.
E-ticket passengers should go directly to the check-in desk.
The following minimum check-in times usually apply:
45 mins - Domestic Scheduled
1 hr - Other European Scheduled
2? hrs - Chartered Holiday Flights
Allow extra time for parking, ticket collection and possible congestion.
Hand luggage should not exceed 7 kilos and must not contain any sharp objects, replica guns, etc. You should also not take anywhere in your luggage such items as flammable or poisonous liquids, etc. (see below for a more comprehensive list).
Security Information
All passengers and hand luggage will be searched before entering the Departure Lounge. Enhanced security can take time, so please be patient with any additional personal and luggage searches and please carry only one piece of hand luggage.
Please ensure that your hand luggage does not contain any of the following:
- Toy guns (plastic or metal)
- Knives with blades of any length
- Metal cutlery, except teaspoons
- Catapults
- Razor blades (unless permanently set in a fixed cartridge)
- Tradesmens tools (e.g. box cutters, drills, drill bits.)
- Darts
- Scissors
- Hypodermic Syringes (unless required for medical reasons)
- Knitting needles
- Corkscrews
- Large sporting bats and clubs (e.g. baseball, golf clubs, cricket bats, hurling sticks)
- Billiard, snooker or pool cues
- Lighters shaped like a firearm
- Ice skates
- Skateboards
- Fishing rods/reels
- Fireworks, flares (including party poppers, toy caps)
- Non safety matches
- Lighter fluids
Other security advice includes:
Never leave baggage or personal belongings unattended in or around the Airport;
Always use your own bag and pack it yourself;
Keep baggage securely locked at all times;
Answer baggage questions at check-in and remember it is a criminal offence to give false information;
Never check-in bags for other people;
Never carry anything onto an aircraft for other people;
Your home address should be placed inside your baggage with your name and destination only on the outside;
Keep money, jewellery, cameras and other valuables with you and don't check them in with hold baggage;
Carry travellers cheques and credit cards rather than large amounts of cash.

Banks and Money Exchange
'Lets Go Travel' operate the Bureau de Change, in the main concourse of the airport. landside. The opening hours are Mon to Fri: 9.00am - 5.30pm and Sat: 9.00am - 5.00pm.
There is an Alliance & Leicester ATM cash machine on the external wall of the main terminal building, landside. It accepts Link cash cards and Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus and American Express.
Shops and Duty FreeLandside outlets include Food Village, Caf? Select, Concourse Shop and the ?Lets Go Travel? Travel Agents.
Airside outlets include Alpha Airport Shopping, from where you can purchase a wide selection of goods, and the Bar des Voyages, which serves drinks and snacks.
