General Information
The Airport is fully equipped with suitable wheelchairs, ramps, telephones and toilets for passengers and visitors with special needs.
An 'Ambulift' to assist with the disembarkation of the aircraft is available upon request.
Setting down/collection is permitted directly opposite the terminal for disabled badge holders if required.
The Airtours Children's Play Area is located in the main terminal. The area is not supervised. A variety of toys and play equipment are available
Baby Changing is located in the main terminal concourse, International Departure Lounge and Arrivals Hall.
Nappy dispensers are available in all areas.
Humberside Airport is on the A18, located three miles fron Junction 5 on the M180 where excellent, uncongested connections link the airport with the M18, M62, M1 and A1.
By rail, Barnetby Station is just three miles away, with Intercity connections via Doncaster to all mainline stations.
By bus, the Stagecoach Humber Flyer service operates between Hull, the airport, and Grimsby every 90 minutes and the bus stop is just a few yards away from the terminal building.
Airport Hotels
Staying in an airport hotel on the night before your departure date enables you to have a more relaxing start to your holiday ? if you are travelling by car, no travel delays stuck in traffic or bad weather, so no pressure about missing your flight. Airport Parking
The Airport has ample and inexpensive open air, perimeter fenced car parking on four sites close to the terminal building. Short stay parking is available in Car Park 1, whilst longer stay parking is available in Car Parks 2 and 3 and 4.

Check In
It is recommended that you check-in at least an hour before departure.
Hand luggage should not exceed 7 kilos and must not contain any sharp objects, replica guns, etc. You should also not take anywhere in your luggage such items as flammable or poisonous liquids, etc.
Security Information
5,000 banned items are being confiscated every day from passengers, at Heathrow, Stansted and Gatwick airports alone. The whole system has slowed down because people are still carrying sharp objects in their hand luggage. In the UK an extra ?30m of additional investment has been ploughed into airport security and improving surveillance at the major airports. Tighter security measures at UK Airports means that checking in for your flight at Humberside airport can take longer.
Do not leave your baggage or personal belongings unattended in or around the terminal, as they may be removed or even destroyed. Never leave your baggage in the care of a stranger. Put your name and address clearly on the outside of your baggage. Do not accept parcels that belong to others.

TravelValue in the International Departure lounge sells a large variety of tax free goods which are available to all passengers and Duty Free goods are also available to all passengers travelling outside the European Union.
