General Information
A large children's play area (unsupervised) has been provided by Airtours and is situated in the International Departure Lounge.
There are specially reserved spaces for drivers with disabilities in the short stay car park immediately opposite the terminal building. Long term disabled parking is charged at the long stay rates. Lifts are available throughout the terminal building serving all floors. The disabled toilets are available on every floor throughout the terminal building. Wheelchairs, ramps and ambulift transport are available. Assistance for any passengers with special needs i.e. meet and assist, unaccompanied minors, blind/deaf passengers, disabled passengers etc. please contact the relevant handling agent. There is a hearing induction loop available at the information desk for the hearing impaired.
The airport is signposted on all major roads over a wide area, including the M1 and M62 motorways and the Yorkshire section of the A1.
If you are travelling by public transport, the MetroConnect Bus Service is the easiest and most efficient way to get to Leeds Bradford International Airport from Leeds and Bradford city centres, and there is ample luggage space on board.
The nearest train station Nearest railway station is Horsforth, approximately 10 minutes away by taxi. If you come to Leeds City Rail Station or Bradford Interchange, then you would need to connect to the airport by the MetroConnect Bus Services. When using rail connections through Leeds City Station please allow up to 20 minutes to transfer from your train to the MatroConnect 757 bus service.

Airport Parking
Leeds Bradford International Airport has been reaccredited with the prestigous Secured Car Park Award in August 2004 for each car park. The Association of Chief Police Officers issues the award in recognition of our commitment to meeting a high standard of operation in all aspects of car park management.
There is a short stay car park, which is recommended for stays up to 24 hours, a long stay car park, recommended for stays of over 24 hours, and an Express car park, which is for dropping off/picking up for stays of less than 30 minutes. Short and Long stay car parking is clearly signposted as you approach the Terminal Building.
There is also off site parking with "Sentinel Security Car Park", which offers secure outdoor parking, and a car washing/valeting service, with a transfer time of 3 minutes. In addition, there are the Airport Garage Services, based at Coney Park, Harrogate Road, Yeadon, Leeds, which is 800 yards from the terminal and runs 24 hours transfers. Minimum stay 5 days. Security Measures include that the car park is fully fenced and lit, with close circuit TV and guard dogs.

Car Hire is available within the main terminal building. The desks are located close to the international arrivals area and the companies represented here are Avis, Hertz and Europcar.

Check In
It is recommended that you arrive and check in at least an hour, preferably 2 hours, before your departure.
Hand luggage should not exceed 7 kilos and must not contain any sharp objects, replica guns, etc. You should also not take anywhere in your luggage such items as flammable or poisonous liquids, etc.
Security Information
Do not leave your baggage or personal belongings unattended in or around the terminal, as they may be removed or even destroyed. Never leave your baggage in the care of a stranger. Put your name and address clearly on the outside of your baggage. Do not accept parcels that belong to others.

There is the Business Executive Lounge/Yorkshire Executive Club.
Servisair's Executive Lounge is situated on the first floor of the Departure Lounge, and is fully refurbished with an airside view, a very modern, climate controlled and relaxed atmosphere, and has been designed with imaginative textures and colour schemes in mind.
