There are good disabled facilities, including porters available to help with luggage and give assistance to wheelchair passengers, dedicated wide car-parking spaces in the short-stay car park within 50 metres of the main entrance, for use by disabled badge holders on long or short stay journeys, a pick-up area is provided on the terminal front for the collection of disabled passengers, disabled toilet facilities, wheelchairs throughout the terminal, a lift to provide access to the first floor food hall, electronically activated and controlled doorways, an Ambulift or carry chair for boarding aircraft, wheelchair accessible taxis available, and hard of hearing loops are provided throughout the terminal.
Nottingham East Midlands Airport is in the centre of the country, surrounded by the cities of Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and within easy reach of Sheffield, Stoke upon Trent and Tamworth. The Airport is easily accessible from all parts of the UK, either by road or by public transport. The airport is located 21km (13 miles) southwest of Nottingham. From Nottingham, take the A52 westbound and join the M1 at junction 25 southbound. Continue southbound and exit at junction 24, then follow signs to the airport.
National Express Airport service 240 offers direct connections daily to and from Nottingham East Midlands Airport to Bradford, Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield. Luton, Heathrow and Gatwick, allowing onward connections throughout the UK.

Airport Parking
The secured off-airport car park at East Midlands Airport is run by Airparks Services Ltd. and it is fenced and floodlit with 24 hour patrols and CCTV. Free transfers to and from the Airport Terminal run 24 hours a day, every day. Convenient location close to the Airport with an availability of 1,400 spaces.
There are 6,000 spaces available in the short term and long term car parks on site.
Express Parking is for short stay customers requiring parking for 24 hours or less and is ideal for those on one day business or pleasure trips, as well as meeters and greeters. The short stay car park is situated adjacent to the Airport terminal.
Executive Parking is for medium stay passengers requiring parking for up to four days. The Executive car parks are within walking distance of the terminal, however, there is a free shuttle bus service running regularly to take you to the terminal
Economy Parking is for long stay passengers requiring parking for 5 days or more. A free shuttle bus operates regularly to take passengers to the terminal. We advise customers to leave a little extra time, as the car park is a short journey away.
Medium and Long stay passengers who hold a disabled badge may park in the short stay car park at the relevant medium or long stay prices. We have dedicated spaces a short distance from the terminal, and porters are available to help with luggage and give assistance to wheelchair passengers. A pick-up area is provided on the terminal front for the collection of disabled passengers.

Check In
It is recommended you arrive at least an hour before departure.
Hand luggage should not exceed 7 kilos and must not contain any sharp objects, replica guns, etc. You should also not take anywhere in your luggage such items as flammable or poisonous liquids, etc.
Security Information
Do not leave your baggage or personal belongings unattended in or around the terminal, as they may be removed or even destroyed. Never leave your baggage in the care of a stranger. Put your name and address clearly on the outside of your baggage. Do not accept parcels that belong to others.
